Ethics
3 hrs – Producers and Adjusters must complete 3 hrs of Ethics as part of the total requirement.

Annuity Requirements

An insurance producer may not sell, solicit, or negotiate an annuity product unless the producer has completed an approved one-time 4-hour training course. This requirement is effective June 1, 2017. Insurance producers who hold a life insurance line of authority as of June 1, 2017, and who wish to sell annuities must complete the training requirement by December 1, 2017. Individuals who obtain a life insurance line of authority on or after June 1, 2017, may not engage in the sale of annuities until the one-time annuity training course has been completed. Please note: The Delaware DOI has advised that the credit type for Annuity Suitability: 4-Hour Training Course is “Long Term Care”. Despite this required credit type, the course does meet the Delaware one-time annuity training requirement as indicated in the bracketed information of the course title.

Producers with a Health license who wish to sell Long Term Care must complete 3 hours of LTC training as part of the biennial requirement.
