How to Complete the Kentucky Continuing Education Renewal
Kentucky Real Estate Licensees are required to obtain 6 hours of continuing education every year including 3 hours of a legal topic course. Continuing education is due on December 31 every year and the license renewal is by March 31 of the following spring.
Note: A 6-hour Kentucky Core Course is required based on the licensee’s date of birth once every 4 years.
The Kentucky Real Estate Commission requires an electronic signature (in lieu of the required affidavit) upon the start and completion of all courses (except non-credit courses).
Kentucky Real Estate Commission requires a final exam for CE courses and will allow for only TWO attempts on the final exam before requiring the course be retaken. The final exam passing requirement is 75%.
