You must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED in order to become licensed in Louisiana.
Complete 90 hours of real estate education in courses approved by the Louisiana Real Estate Commission.
Applicants must submit a criminal background history.
Applicants must pass the real estate salesperson licensing exam.
Broker sponsor requirements
You must be sponsored by a licensed real estate broker prior to getting your license.
Errors & Omissions Insurance
You must provide proof of mandatory errors and omissions insurance prior to issuance of your license.
