How to Complete the South Carolina Broker In-Charge Continuing Education Renewal
Effective 1/1/17, every two years, Broker-in-Charge licensees must complete a total of ten (10) hours of Continuing Education prescribed by the Real Estate Commission for renewal of an active license. The continuing education must consist of the following: 1) a 4-hour CORE course 2) 2 hours in Elective course(s) and 3) 4-hour BIC course.
The 4-hour Core course for this renewal cycle is “3Ps of Professionalism: Principles, Practices, and Pitfalls.”
While students are required to demonstrate mastery of the content at certain levels of the course, there are no passing requirements for final exams.
