Utah Requirement Detail for Real Estate New Agents
License Renewal Date: every two years
Hours Required By The State:
- 12 hour New Agent course
- 6 elective hours
All real estate agents who were licensed on or after 07/01/07 are required to complete the 12-hour new agent course during their first renewal period in addition to 6 hours of electives to meet the 18 hour course requirement.
Seat Time: The Utah Division of Real Estate requires that all students spend a minimum amount of seat time engaged in the course content. Our online course delivery system manages this requirement for you.
Max Hours in a 24-Hour Period: Utah Real Estate Licensees are not allowed to complete more than 8 hours of courses in a 24-hour period. Our online course delivery system manages this requirement for students.
